HID kits...
I have a chance to pick up two HID kits..ballast/bulbs /harness and such for cheap.Friend is selling his truck and is taking them out.They work great.
They are a 9006 and a 9007 kit.I can use the 9006 in my truck but is there a way to retrofit the 9007 to my Gf's 98 slk230?
I understand the cut-off thing and not having high beams is of no concern to either vehicle so don't bother to explain...thx guys..

These kits come with adapters specific to bulb mount type so it would not work as is but possibly the manufacturer of the kit can sell you just the H7 adapter. There are some great HID kits on ebay now for about $100, the prices have dropped to insanely low levels. I can give you the link of you're interest but search the W203 forum, may there use HID kits.

Thx and yes I would like to see which ones you can find for the slk230.
I have a 00 Yukon Denali and it uses 2006's for low beam and 2007 for highs.The only thing that concerns me is the daytime lights.They turn on and off a good bit with changing daylight.They are abit sensitive to lighting changes and I get worried they will pop a bulb from that.
The SLK would be fine in that reguard I would guess.My Yukon has plenty of room to fiddle but how is the slk?
