2004 SLK32 vs SLK320 What Is the difference between the two?

My 2003 SLK320 is gone (totaled - hit & run) and I'm thinking of replacing it with one of the above. I've seen several 2004 320s and 32s in autotrader and cars.com. I was very happy with my 320. I thought it handled and accelerated well beside being fun to drive. I don't know much about the SLK32AMG. I think it's a supercharged V6 3.2L motor. I don't know much about the AMG tag either. The price difference is around $2,000-4,000 when comparably loaded (heated seats, cd changer). Any insight is appreciated. I'm also looking at the SLK350. Is there any comparison between either of the cars I've mentioned? Thanks in advance for your input.

I've thought about it too, the SLK350 is almost as fast the SLK32 but I felt it handled better, smoother, quieter but even a 2005 is going to go for more money than an SLK32. If you want SLK32 performance brand new at a deep discount, consider a Crossfire SRT6 convertible. Many dealers got some new old stock of 2006's. It's a lot more unique, is made by MB and you'll start off with a new car smell and warranty.

SLK350 Horsepower=268 Curb weight=3295

SLK32 Horsepower=350 Curb wight=3220

I've got to question your judgement when 2 cars that basically weight the same but are different by 82 horsepower can feel, similar, or as you put it "almost as fast". 82 ponies is a huge improvement on a small car such as this.

SLK32 is a great car with a few imperfections.
1st the oem tires suck. I change to RE050A Pole Position the car felt like a brand new car.
2nd is the throttle delay which can make the car lethargic. I installed sprint booster and that is resolved.

I love my car man.
