Consedering to but SLK 320 got some questions..
... does the steel top leak in carwashes?
also is there in windnoise when top is up and does top ever get out of alighnment that it hits something in the trunk while lowering?

Most SLK tops leak a little in carwashes, especially at the corner of the main window, quarter window, and the roof. Nothing disastrous, but it happens. There's not a lot that can be done about it, besides tweaking and adjusting the roof. But that can take days to get just right.
There can be wind noise if the top isn't adjusted and shimmed just right.
The top won't go down unless the tonneau cover in the trunk is in place. With this cover in place, anything below the cover won't get hit, and nothing should be placed on top of the cover.
And my two cents would say to get an SLK230 before a 320, they're more reliable, get better gas mileage, cheaper.
