The point is not that the license plate is there and visible...if someone took that picture, fine, even with the plate there...
in this case, the picture was taken from somewhere else without asking...a web site or somewhere else that was not necessarily intended for reuse...I would like to know where my picture was taken from...and why that is OK without asking...that simple...

I don't think that one can protect their car from being photographed, that is unless one wants to leave it in ones the garage. That would be a good case for getting rid of photoradar tickets.

If someone particpates with our group of SLK enthusiasts, they are free to take pictures and do what they want. If people don't participate with us and just see us, the same. I have no problem with that. ;-)
