their SLK230/320 (Sport Package) or SLK32? Just wanted to know how it may have affected your ride and handling. TIA for sharing your experience.

I just mounted 255/40/17 on my slk32 and it works fine. You will need to put 235/45/17 on the front so the ride height is the same front and rear. If you are planning to get michelins dont waste your money. If you are serious about driving and are interested in better handling consider the Toyo RA-1.

Smile Had OEM tires of my SLK32 replaced today.

Originally wanted to replace just my OEM rears to 255/40 ZR x 17s with Pirelli P-Zero Rosso to match the front tires of the same brand/make, but found out that aftermarket versions came only with "P-Zero" in red letters. Black sidewall versions are just for OEM.

My dealer replaced all the 4 OEM tires and mounted them today, at no-charge!

The ride was actually more comfortable because the wider cross-section (+10mm) on the same rims caused the sidewalls to "balloon-out" a bit.

The car looks more aggressive now with more rubber at the back!

I also found that the wider tire will prevent you from curbing your wheels if you back up to a curb.
