Custom Stereo work compete
Hey guys, just finished my custom job on installing a set of Focal 130 V2 component speakers in my car. Also used a JL A2150 amp and a Memphis Audio line driver to round out the system. The Focals are being used as REAR speakers tied into my head unit replacement where I integrated the exsiting bose system as the front and sub output. Very unique install...will post pics soon. Worked out MUCH better than expected.

Actually the Focal speakers in the roll bars are being used as rear speakers and the exsiting factor bose system (door speakers, tweeters, and subs) are being used as the fronts, so the system can be balanced out very well by using the fader. Here is a list of parts:
Head unit: touch screen DVD with a flip out screen
Wiring: Metra 70-1786 wiring harness to intergrate into the bose system, RCA cables (4 set if I remember right), 12 gauge speaker wire
Line driver: Memphis car audio 16-VBF1 9 volt line driver pre amp to up the voltage from the head unit out put to bose amp.
Amp: JL Audio A2150
Rear speakers: Focal 130 V2 component speaker
Rear speaker enclosure: Masonite board, t-nut (12), 3.5" bolts (12), leather, foam padding, 3M spray adhesive, Staple gun.
Took about 60 man hours to complete the install including building the roll bar enclosures. Please feel free to ask any questions being I did the install and fabrication myself.
Thanks
