Searched, and can't find details on code P0805

Hi Guys.

1998 SLK R170 - Auto.

Just had my oil, transmission fluid, spark plugs changed yesterday.
Then check engine came on right after.
Diagnosed with code P0805 Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction.

Tried clearing it. Didn't work. It came right back on as soon as car was re-started.

Car only has 46,000 miles.

Now my car is sitting at the shop. Any inputs?

Thanks in Advance

Trans code

Sounds like they knocked a connector off a solenoid, pinched a wire, or loosened wiring connector to the transmission..

This code has to do with the supercharger function. Check and see if the supercharger is operating properly. Follow step 35 of the attached file. Hope it helps. If problem still occurs, you may have to replace the control module and supercharger. You will have to have the dealer do the installation of the module if you need it due to programming that is needed. I hope it dosen't have to go that far.
