how to remove the wiper arm?
Does anyone know how to remove the windshield wiper arm? I've removed the nut on the wiper arm but it's not coming out. It seems that a special wiper arm puller is needed to get it out.
The washer fluid pumping out of nozzle on the driver side is extremely weak. I've cleaned the nozzle holes already. The nozzle on the passenger side is working fine; that means the washer pump is working fine. I'm suspecting that the plastic pipe leading to the driver side nozzle is plugged up and needs some cleaning. To get access to this hose, I believe I need to remove the wiper arm.

No, I'm referring to the 2001 SLK320. That's what I drive on weekends in addition to the E500.
There's a plastic shield covering the wiper nozzle hoses. I can't see how I can get access to them without removing the arms. I've tried for an hour but only got partial access to the hoses. I need to remove the driver-side hose completely to flush it. If I can just remove the nozzle that'll work too. Do you have a picture showing getting full access to the hoses? Thanks.

I tried a puller and still couldn't get the arms off but I did find a solution ... boiling water!
With the puller in place and tensioned up I poured boiling water over the joint and the arm popped off :-)
