Buying advice

Hi,

I'm thinking of buying an SLK with a budget of £8000 (sorry its not USD) I know they were updated in early 200? to include LED wing mirrors, but what were the other changes? Which model should I aim to purchase a face lift with high miles or pre -face lift with lower miles?
Finaly any particular points to look out for?

Thanks.

2001 slk
Thumbs down run for the hills!

Unless you are able to work on this car yourself or have a Mercedes mechanic as a relative I would avoid this car. It is a money pit and there are many more reliable drop tops around!

Utter crap !

The slk is very reliable car, There are no major probs with them, you just need to check a few things over m8.

Just dont rush, find the one you want.

I have had mine two years and have not had to spend a penny on it !
