How do I replace activating switch for the top?
Need to replace the switch (opening and closing switch in center console).
I have the new switch (the cover broke on the old switch).
How do I remove the old switch? It looks like you have to remove the little panel that the switch is mounted in, but how the heck do you remove the little panel. I've tried prying around on it with a small screwdriver, getting the screwdriver blade around and under the panel, but gentle prying does not even budge the little panel. I am afraid to pry very hard for fear of breaking the plastic. Is there something that I am missing here?
