Hi Guys and Gals,
This is my first question. See my response to alarm thread for my first tech tip submittal. Now that I have the PSE (what does that stand for, anyone have a link to acronym list?) fixed, I want to solve the source of the water problem. I think the water is due to a clogged drain hose or fitting.
I may have partially caused this problem by pulling the bottom of the right rear trunk lid hose out of its perch. I tried running wires down the hose, vacuuming, blowing, etc. before I pulled it loose and let it drain into the farthest right rear cavity area.
I just discovered the trick of pushing the bulb inside the right rear drain hose several times to get water to flow. How do I clean this drain bulb hose water outlet? The hose I rerouted has the upper opening at the leading corner of the right rear trunk lid. The bottom of the hose is now right above the bulb hose outlet in the farthest right rear cavity. So, will fixing the drain outlet solve my wet trunk problem? Are there other likely culprits?
The right engine compartment drain just about below the corner of the windshield won’t drain. I have snaked wires down into it until I can go no further. Anyone have a method to clear this hose? Where is the outlet? Must I work from the bottom outlet side?
Thanks in advance for any tips.
Thom

Don't really have any experience with your issue, but i googled "mercedes sunroof leak" and found this thread. They suggest taking it to a shop that installs aftermarket sunroofs. You might also try "car sunroof leak"
Have a look at the thread...i didn't read through it all.
Apparently know one here has had that issue.....yet.
