October 18, 2008 Northern California SLK Enthusiasts Meet & Drive
Mercedes Benz SLK roadster owners are invited to meet rain or shine Saturday, October 18, 2008 for display of their cars at 10:30 A.M. in the parking lot of Red Hill Shopping Center at 916 Sir Francis Drake Blvd, San Anselmo, CA 94960:

At 11:30, we will take a beautiful drive out to the coast to Pt. Reyes Station, then on past Tomales Bay to Bodega Bay for lunch.
After the drive, for those that wish to dine at an exclusive beautiful restaurant overlooking Bodega Bay, we will need to get reservations prior to the day and collect payment of $25 per person (lunch, beverage, & tip) at the meet. I will update this post with the lunch menu and email to reserve closer to the event.
There is no cost except your meals and vehicle costs. Join us for an enjoyable day; participate in whichever parts you can.

Maybe next year. Have been trying to find employment in SF and sell my home on the east coast since last October. But with the worsening economy neither endeavor has worked well.
I am so homesick!
Anyway enjoy and think of me up at Pt. Reyes, I love it up there. Daisy Jane (my car's name) and I will join you in 09' if it is God's will.

Patti, you can not rename your "girl" , there is general rule in germany.
Any mercedes is a "girl" and her name is ALWAYS "Mercedes" ;-) hehe

Lunch Details
For those wanting to dine with us, our special lunch will be at an exclusive beautiful restaurant overlooking Bodega Bay. We will need to get reservations and collect payment of $25 per person (lunch, beverage, & tip) at the meet. Please bring cash.
