My SLK 200 Kompressor insists on being a coupe.It's impossible to open the roof less than 3 min and at least i know thats because of the switches .
There is no problem with the movement of the trunk but fails at the second step.
I changed the switch at the right side of the trunk but there is still no difference... i heard there are 10 switches more and i wanna know if thats true..(hope not)

Anybody experienced the same problem?if yes can you please share your ideas and make a suggestion?
(I need it coz i don't need silly advises like dropping a viagra in the tank?!eheh)..

I believe there are 11 switches involved in opening the roof. I would at least have a dealer examine it and tell you what the problem is. Then fix it yourself.

yup, there are 11 micro switches, plus your hydraulic clamps that might freeze up...

Best to have your dealer look at it, or do a search, this topic has been around.
