Question about finding an SLK230 stick-shift...
Is it *really* that difficult to find them for sale? I can't find ANYTHING local in California, let alone in the general United States that's in decent condition, or price.
I figured there'd be at least a few more out there people would be interested in selling. I've been mulling a 2nd car, but damn it, a manual '01 or newer 230 is hard to come by. I'm going '01 or newer to stick to the M111 engine that I know so well.
One more thing...there *is* a difference engine-wise between the '01-up and the '00 and older, right? They sound different, and if I remember correctly, there's a 6 hp difference between the 2.

1999 SLK230 sport with 5 speed stick shif
I have a 1999 SLK230 Sport with 5 speed manual transmission, they are rare and hard to find, a blast to drive and fast, a true sports car with manual transmission, mine is for sale here in California and I will miss my car but can't keep driving with stick shift to many surgeries...under 115k miles, brilliant silver exterior, and black interior..nice car
