has anybody encounter this malfunction in your slk?
if so, what does the malfunction mean?
was there a recall for such a thing about a year ago?
if so, what years and models?

It usually means that one of your ABS sensors is loose, damaged, or blocked with debris.
I'm not aware of any recall relating to it. If there's really a recall, or even a TSB, you can look it up on the NHTSA website.
