Hi all. Does anyone have any information about realistically reducing SLK fuel consumption? I have a 1997 230 which I would like to improve. Do any of the available gadgets actually work? I mean fuel savers, things inserted into the air filter, magnets clamped on the fuel lines, piggy back devices etc. Any advice or information will be gratefully received. Charlie.

you asked! all those gadgets are junk. only way to improve mileage is drive slower in the right conditions. shift when the conditions req. it. 21 to 25 mpg is respectable. its what i get with my 32 but i didnt buy it to save gas
