SLK/R170: oil leak from camshaft solenoid?

oil leak from camshaft solenoid?
I just took my car (02' slk230) to the dealership for a recall on the camshaft soleniod, and they noticed a fair amount of oil on the bottom shield pan. Could that oil be due to the camshaft, or should I be worried about another leak else where around the engine?
