I had to reset my radio code after my battery cable had to be disconnected. I entered the code and the radio display came on and displayed the station and if I switch to the CD that will show with the tracks and everything BUT NO VOLUME. HELP

Not sure about that one, but make sure you put a surge protector on the terminals before reconnecting the batt. Surge spikes can knock out your dash, maybe even your radio.. Matson makes good ones for your car.
BTW your radio might have gone back to factory specks and might have a mute on or may be in demo mode, not sure.
