SLK/R170: NO VOLUME

NO VOLUME
I had to reset my radio code after the battery cable had to be disconnected. I entered my radio code and the radio display shows like everything is on and operating but no volume. HELP

Not sure about that one, but make sure you put a surge protector on the terminals before reconnecting the batt. Surge spikes can knock out your dash, maybe even your radio.. Matson makes good ones for your car.
BTW your radio might have gone back to factory specks and might have a mute on or may be in demo mode, not sure.
