That is really cool, mind me asking how you went about doing it, components, tools, mods...etc???

I want to put a nav system in my SLK, can you use this Display as the interface or it is just a DVD player??

thanks.
no , i didn't the job myself. i had a custom installer do the work. the project took about 3 weeks because every component was hand built. the lcd runs on a track system. ihave a dvd player on it now, but i believe you can navi, why couldn't you? i thik you would just have to buy the an aftermarket system.
