SLK-Class (R170) 1998-2003: SLK 200, SLK 230K, SLK 320

SLK/R170: anyone have a custom intake for there slk230 kompressor?

2004 slk230 kompressor
anyone have a custom intake for there slk230 kompressor?

anyone on here made their own custom intake for their slk230 k? i searched and only one topic came up. and i was just wondering what the heck did you guys do with that big o block thing that leads to the air filter box to the supercharger.

2004 slk230 kompressor

the one circled in red. i noticed that the 99 models are set up differently. so customizing an intake is not hard. but on the 2003 its setup differently. it connects to the air filter, down to the supercharger, leads to the intercooler.

Yea you can still do some work with that. For example to the right side of that area (MAF sensor piping), I redid all that with 2.5" aluminum tubing, welded up perty nice... and also moved the MAF sensor up while I was doing that

as for that circled area, I have the 98-00 design so I can't help a lot unless you have pics of it taken apart so I can see how its set up and how similar it is to the prefacelift
