Urgent Help Required!

Hi all

the interior of my SLK is peeling off...and my mum is pissed off with the cosmetic problem...she wanna sell off the 4 yrs car with only 12000miles! and get either a S60 T5 or an evo.

Can someone tell me how do we fix the interior problem?? The dealership wants 4k usd for it!

This is NOT an urgent problem first of all...

This is more of a common problem among all slk if you do a forum search!

It would be much cheaper than USD $4,000 to go to a local upholstery shop and have the interior pieces covered in leather.

If that isn't an option, I suggest you find a shop that specialized in automotive interiors and see if they can re-spray the interior pieces with a matching color/texture coating.

If you are in Singapore, try Super Workshop Pte Ltd. They specialise in customising MBs. I haven't tried them but I heard that they are good. The phone number is 67489878. You can speak to Freddy Leow (hp 98323236).

Let me know the outcome. My SLK is 6 years old, the interior is still fine but I believe very soon I may have to pay them a visit.
