I believe the fiber cable in all models and all SLK's in the US is located on the right side of the trunk where the tailights are.
It's probably safe to assume that you can find the cable on the left side of the trunk for European models...but don't take my word for it.
Nevertheless, the cable should be fairly easy to spot, because each fiber optic cable comes with a approx. 1" by 1" (2.5cmx2.5cm) connector.
