Exclamation tranny slippage??

Here are the symptoms... if I'm coasting at around 15-20mph and I suddenly punch to full throttle. The car doesnt take off immediately; instead the rpms move up and then it suddenly catches and takes off. Reminds me of a high winding torque converter...rubberbandish.

any ideas?

1999 SLK 230
auto slipping?

I own a 1999 SLK 230. Purchased used 9 months ago.
Still under warrentee.
I've also noticed that when I stop down for passing, the
RPMs rev up then the transmission kicks in?
I'm gonna stop by the dealer one day before warrentee
runs out.

I just had the Air Mass Sensor replaced. Check engine light
came on and engine stumbled when cold.

That's just the tranny taking it's sweet *** time shifting. It's normal, especially if it kicks down 2 or more gears.
