no response mid throttle coughs splutters
Hello,
Any help appreciated.
my slk 200 (2001) starts (just) but coughs and splutters just driveable at low throttle but as soon as you try to accelerate it coughs and almost dies. take your foot almost of the throttle and it plods along. Did go through some water a few days before this happened. mechanic was thinking the cat was blocked but no joy, also tried swapping crank shaft sensor-no joy. all electrical connetions appear fine, plugs are fine, no codes showing when hooked up on diagnostic machine......My mechanic owns the same model so can try swapping parts from his but no luck so far.
