Squeak in right front, driving me crazy!
My wife's SLK230 is driving me crazy! Actually she is driving me crazy because the car is squeaking. Every little bump causes a high pitched squeak in the right front suspension. It so high pitched it almost sounds like a tinkling sound.
The dealer is clueless, the last time it was taken in for this, they claimed the squeak was coming from the passenger-side door panel and they replaced it. The car still squeaks!
Do these things have polyureathane bushings? I've heard a similar squeak coming from cars with poly bushing?
I'm taking the car back in on Monday, this will be the 3rd trip, I want to get it fixed this time, can you people offer any advice?
Thanks a bunch!

On my 1998 (mfg02/97) SLK, when new 5 years ago, I had a annoying squeak at front wheel at brakes(when NOT braking). Try applying brakes very lightly to see if it still squeaks at a bump. The MB-Dealer did something re the pad mount springs--so problems since then. Giff Albright
