I was just curious if anybody out there had personally tested the 0-60 time on their SLK? Just thought it would be interesting to compare the MB performance data to other peoples numbers to get an idea of the difference. I know sometimes a cars performance get a little better after 20k miles or so.

I tried it last summer , and time was 7.4s on my slk230 , 5 spd manaul , yr 99
should have got better time if I have had the new tires on my car ...........
so , what is ur time ?

Well I don't have any times because my car isn't here yet but I was just trying to get an idea. The times posted or the SLK320 seem accurate though. I was expecting a little more out of the SLK230 but conditions vary and as you said the tires may have been an issue. Anybody else have any numbers? 1/4 mile would be great too.
