What is this Fancy Box?
Hey,
As i was working in the back of the SLK320 I found this in the passenger side under the Tops's compressor and down by the spare tire.
So what is it?
Thanks,
Steve

PSE (Pneumatic System Equipment). Provides vacuum for locks. A lot of crap (alarm, interior lights, etc.) runs through there. Will give a lot of grief if it gets wet or corroded. Make sure your trunk drains are clear and seals are good.

Mercedes has a Service Note to flip this module over so that the PC board is on top to prevent the board from getting wet. If it gets wet, your alarm might go off by itself, light flash, locks and remote do not work, inside light stays on.
