So, I am installing this radar detector in our Stealth, SLK and E55, so far I have the stealth done, and just finished the SLK, here are some of the pics of the install, more will come when I am back home, but wanted to show off the location of the control and display for the detector as I am happy with how it turned out and can be totally hidden from view, just had to give up my ashtray. One is of it opened, and the second is closed with the display and control installed.

So its all finally done, had some slight wiring issues, but here is that same piece in the car both closed and open. Also a shot of the front bumper, the small sensors in the center lower mesh are for the laser detector / jammer, and the radar sensor is behind the grille. That radar sensor needed some trimming and creative bracket work to sit back there straight, but in the end its hard to see that the system is there which is what I was trying to do. Learned today too driving around it works really well.
