CD Changer Question

For those of you who have a CD Changer, does yours skip when hitting a bump in the road? I did not mount mine in the brackets so that may be why mine cuts out upon rare occasion. I have the storage compartment where the spare tire ordinarily goes so mine is wedged on the right hand side of that storage box sandwiched between foam rubber. It works great; I love having the ability to play CD's and Cassettes.

I have a Bose sound system in my 03 Corvette and I give a slight sound advantage to the SLK. I like having the subwoofer located separately behind the seat. In the Corvette, the subwoofers are located in the door occasionally making the side mirror vibrate with the music. However, my OEM CD Changer in the Corvette has never skipped a beat not even once.

The latest state of the radio art is an in-dash 6-disk CD changer. Strangely, my wife’s Suzuki Aerio has a 6-CD in-dash changer and it sounds almost as good as our Bose system.

Dan
