The motor mounts are oil filled & can collapse, yes its normal for a 14 year old car.
You should also have your transmission mount replaced as well.

I was planning on changing mine myself soon. Does anybody have suggestions on where to buy them or a specific brand?
It looks like there are plenty on ebay for a good price but I don't buy a lot of things from ebay so I don't know if I can trust them all.
