SLK/R170: Boot lock

Boot lock
hi all.
So basically I'm a bit of a div. left the top down in light drizzle for about 10 minutes. Since then the passenger door lock stopped working, and car was battery flat within 30 mins of turning of the engine.
I called the AA out and they recommended to change the battery. After that I asked them to do a drain test with me. Drain was 1.2 Amps but then I removed fuse 23 and the drain was 0.08
I then kept the fuse out and carried on using the car with the fuse out.
The car was good. I replaced the battery too.
A few days later I wanted to put something in my boot, and I discovered it was locked. I can't open it. By using the convertible to raise the trunk to access I got away with it.
I tried putting the fuse back in to unlock it but no luck. I tried using he key, but it won't go into the boot.
What can I do to just unlock the boot. I'm guessing the PSE pump is shot, so nothing electronic is working. What can I do manually. I can still access it but not conventuallly. I'm not worried about locking the car or boot, I just want it all unlocked. Please help me people!!!
