To buy or not to buy? Please help
I need your help in deciding to buy a used 1998 SLK with 41,152 miles. Can you guys please give me any feedback on what you would do in this situation. How many problems have you guys found in the later years of your car. Are there any specific problems that have risen in the later years of your cars life? There is also another one for 18,900 that has 58,920 miles.

ummmmm...slr?
Major problems in all SLKs include:
1) Tail lights blowing out, bad contacts, etc
2) Interior dash trim peeling
3) Sometimes, transmission seal is loose/leaking. (rare)
That's bout all I can think of for now....have those things checked out..........
