SLK/R170: Grille Mods

Grille Mods
I have recently purchased my first SLK 320, and am looking into changing the look of the front grille. I have seen a few that look like the stock grille is chromed, and others that look completely different. Can anyone help out with a link to purchase a new grille?? Thanks.

I bought my grill from Jerry at formymercedes.com. A chrome SL look gril for $229. Look him up he will take good care of you. BTW how is that Toureg treating you? I have had my Offroad Grey one for a month or so.

I'm loving it so far. I'm putting some mods on it (step bars, V10 Grill, exhaust tips, ext). But love it. I have a ton of people who always want to see it. Have you checked out :

I REALLY REALLY wish someone could come up with a mod for the already modified CLK grille, so you don't have the gaps on the lower bottom... something to fill in that space.
If my car was black, it would be much more difficult to notice, however mine is silver and the gap stands out like a sore thumb.
Needless to say, $250+ later, the grill is sitting on a shelf in the garage.

Can do Crote. I got in new gas and brake pedals (Porsche) last night for the TReg. I have a ton of things on order for it. The next mods will be to the SLK, can have it getting jealous of the attention. I'm beginning to lean towards getting the grill looks chromed (same style ...electric razor look). I think that will look good with the color of the car. Then maybe a rear deck spoiler, and front bumper.
