the paint is chipping on my two toned leather right on the arm handles on the doors. Anyone know how to fix it and how to prevent it from ever happening again?

 

can't prevent it. take it to your dealer and tell them to fix it. it should be free of charge if your car is under warranty. lets hope it is.

mercedes is aware of this problem and they continued to make the slk with the same material. i don't kow why, maybe it was just too expensive to change materials in the middle of the model.
