I just instaled this Xmas a 2003 Pioneer head unit, removing my stock Audio 10, and only needed an antena adaptor.
The conector of the audio 10 and those of new pioneer head units are the same, in fact de conector in the benz is a standar DIN ISO plug for car Audio. (At least in Europe, INMO)
I don't remember but I think only ONE cable was in reversed position. but not sure.
