SLK R170 200 Kompressor
Loss of power and shaking on high RPMs
Hi everyone,
First time posting here, hope someone can help me. So I have a Mercedes SLK R170 200 Kompressor '97 with 192HP.
Today I was driving slowly when suddenly I give it some gas and it starts accelerating, but very slowly. I get out, open the hood, give it gas from there and the supercharger starts and stops to engage, after I give it some more gas, at higher RPM, it starts shaking. I drive off, give it some more gas while driving and, after a while, everything suddenly gets back to normal... This has happened twice over those few weeks.
I then get out, open the hood, give it some gas, everything works perfectly.
So, what could the problem be!? Failing crankshaft sensor? Recirculating Air Flap?

Out Of Control!!
If you don't have the diagnostic equipment then start with the basics---plugs, wires, coils, move to fuel pressure, bla bla, and if you have a CEL what are the codes!!
