AMG Part Codes

Hello everyone,
I need the special part numbers of the AMG bodykit (Front Apron, Rear Apron and Sideskirts) that you can see by clicking on the link below.

In particular, I need to order the rear apron as I had an accident and need to get my baby back in shape. Can I order it directly from Mercedes?

Maybe the ones who had ordered some AMG parts (after an accident or repairment) can share the AMG part - order codes written on the invoice or service book. If it makes any difference for the codes, I live in Europe (Italy).

Thank you

Brian, I've probably asked you this once already about a year ago, will the 2002 AMG bodykit fit the 2001 (post-facelift) models without any modifications?

Brian,
I suppose you probably have an AMG catalog. How can I get one?
Thanks,

Yes. The newest AMG catalog I have says the SLK32-style body kit will fit SLKs built after March 1, 2000.

I got it from a Mercedes dealer in Germany. There is a brochure and a matching price list. The brochure has photos and descriptions. The price list has the prices and part numbers.

Brian,
on the Claus Ettensberger Corporation Web Site they advise to use AMG1708800340 instead of B66036011 as the AMG code for the pre-fcelift rear apron. Why? Has it changed?
Thank you,
Fabio

The part numbers that start with a "B" are for accessories. I.e. parts that you buy to upgrade your car after purchase. Some accessories can be fitted at the factory and they will have a part number that starts with "A", followed by the chassis code (170). The "A170" number is the one that is molded into the plastic, while the "B..." number would be on the box at the dealership and it might include other parts such as clips, screws, installation instructions, etc...

I'm pretty sure that "AMG1708800340" is not a valid part number. It should be either "A170..." or "HWA170...".
