window does not work
I have a 2008 slk and my driver's side window has stop working along with the outside mirror. The motor on the window still works but the window will not go up or down and the outside mirror will not move. What is the problem

Each window is controlled by a single relay that can move to a left or right position, depending on the direction. The contact for rolling the driver's side window up will fail first due to being the most-used and with a heaver load than rolling down. Unfortunately, it's soldered to the circuit board of the control computer it sits on, and cutting it open to clean the contact points does not fix the problem (I tried).
Fortunately, the control computer can be replaced without tools if your fingers are strong, and there are used ones on eBay for cheap.
