SLK/R170: 1999 slk 230 - super charger clutch

1999 slk230 R170 super charger clutch replacement
Can anyone help me with how to change out the clutch not the whole supercharger.

I'm going to add to this post / follow rather than starting similar one
I think my clutch is bad or going bad as well - I have 1 1999 SLK230 with the 5 speed manual - new to me yesterday.
Super charger clutch seems to work - I had the car off the ground on the lift and you can see the clutch on the super charger go in and out based on drive line clutch in and out.
My questions are:
Some of what I've read is the clutch should also engage and disengage based on engine RPM - is this only on the automatic transmission models ? or on the manuals as well ? Mine is engaged it seems anytime the rear wheels are turning.
The clutch has got the distinctive rattle to it. - in reading this seems like a common problem.
So like FLBRAT23 I am looking for any incites on this.
Mechanically pretty capable - just a whole new animal

Mine started as a little rattle and has gotten worse, i'm still looking for info on how to just replace the clutch not the whole S/C so when i get this figured out i will let you know. I also got a few errors codes on my as well, is your check engine light on?
Error codes
P0170 - Fuel Trim Bank
P1236 - Fuel pump control out range
P0410 - Air System A
I"m going to clean my MAF sensor today as thats most likely related to P0170 if not then i'll have to replace it .

Hey I just wanted to let you know that the clutch as been discontinued by MB and they do not have anymore in their warehouses in the US or Germany. I called 4 different dealerships and was told the same thing by all of them. Its not available. I ended up having to order a used supercharger with the clutch attached in order to get a new clutch. will just have to replace the whole thing , might as well. Just an FYI

Finding the same thing - Would you be willing to share where you found the used unit - not having much luck on that either.
Did you consider a after market clutch?
How was the change out process ?

the directions at pelican parts were a life saver

the hardest part was pulling the super charger out and putting it back in, we had to lift the engine in order to make it happen. I found it on eBay , also looked high and low and could not find just the clutch alone.
i also has an issue getting the correct super charger oil but found it at my local GM dealership $12.99
theres a video of barnabus back in action attcahed
