Need help with installing after market deck
I just bought an after market deck, and was looking for the directions or the sight that had the directions to install the deck. I couldn't live with the cd player any longer. Tapes are just not cool when you drive a benz. I would appreciate any input.

I ordered my receiver from Crutchfield. They provided all of the necessary connectors (power, etc. and antenna). You can probably get what you need at Circuit City. Look for the harness that fits a 1999 VW Jetta. The Harness will plug directly into the car wiring (the only difference is the color of the +12 constant and switched +12 -- they are swapped). There is no need to cut the harness plug. Links for the adapters from Crutchfield are below:

Im a little late but I actually have an extra harness (new) from Crutchfield if you want it for free. I bought 2 when I did my install because I thought the first one I bought was wrong...turns out they both work.
