'01 SLK 320 w/ 217K miles
I just drove a '01 SLK 320 that has 217K miles on it. The story is the original owner commuted a very long way daily.
In any event it drove great, felt tight to me.
Any worries about the high milage?
What would be a good price considering the following:
Needs windshield
Several stone chips on front
Interior is perfect (heated seats/cd changer/etc)
couple minor scratches here/there
will need tires before long
has records
silver
Thanks in advance....

Better be getting a killer price on it. That's a lot of miles. It's hard to find a buyer for such a high mileage car so I would price it out on blue book and edmonds and NADA booklet first and bargain it down some more.
Personally, I would not buy it if you may sell it later. It'll be hard to get rid of later on.

High mileage on a MB means nothing
200k is just getting started for the car ![Wink](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
They're built to drive on and on and on. Especially, it's only a 3 year old car, all the parts are still pretty new, discounting the mileage. Unlike my 10 year old w202, your parts probably aren't rusted or wearing out like mine.
I would get a MB tech to go over the car, check for joints, brakes, belts, pretty much a overall checkup. I wouldn't worry about the mileage...it'll still go for a long time!
