SLK320 top problems
My top stopped working on my 2001 slk320. When I push the bottom to lower the top the button flashes slowly. When I push forward on the button the hydraulic pump runs and you can hear it build pressure. If you cycle the switch down several times the door Windows will lower but the back windows won't move and the trunk won't unlatch. I replaced the console switch because of the intermittent lowering of the door Windows. The last time the op was down I pulled up to a stop sign and downshifted and bumped the button and the top went down by itself. It was warm so I didn't put the top up until I got home. Earlier this spring I was driving in town at low speed and bumped the button and the top started to open. I pulled over and pushed the switch forward several times and it stopped. I fooled around with it and finally got it closed but I'm not sure everything latched because the pump will still kick in when the switch is pushed forward. HELP
