New owner maf advice
Hi,
I just got a 2000 slk230 and its awesome! I did get the check engine light and the P0170 code, so I saw all the threads on MAF replacement and cleaning. My question is why not take the sensor out using the two security screws to clean it? It would let you yearly hose it down with MAF cleaner instead of spraying through the screen. Yet, no one does this. Is there a reason? The bits are readily available.
