How much should I spend?
I recently saw a used 2001 SLK230 KOMPRESOR, with 64,000 miles (1 owner) for $22,450. I actually didn't want to buy a car that has over 40,000 miles, but since it will be my husband's weekend toy - I was willing to make a concession.
We are only interested in the 2001 due to TelAid - do you think this is a fair price??

Unfortunately I can't afford it right now but I'm planning on buying an '01-'02 SLK320 in the future and that gives me a lot of hope as to being able to afford it when I want one.

For that same $28,000 you could have found a SLK320 in Florida. You have to shop around, but they can be found. My problem is we only want black, auto, and less than $40,000 miles
