I hae just pruchsed a 1997 SLK 230 R170. I am loving it so far, and is a perfect little project to keep me occupied.
I have just purchased a Pioneer stereo to upgrade the system to accept BT and USB. I also purchased an ISO harness so i dont chop the wires into a mess.
All connected fine and the stereo lights up with ignition but no sound from the speakers at all. It is the bose setup with built in amp under the floor boards.
Can anyone help with a solution? I am hoping i dont have to change the speakers and amp.

Hi Dan, I’m new here and just posted a message about replacing my stock head unit with an Alipine BT/CD in another thread but wondering if you ever managed to sort this out.
