SLK/R170: Brake Lights & LED bulbs

Brake Lights & LED bulbs
I have replaced all of my bulbs (except high beam) with LED versions in my R170. All is great when I start the car and all lights are working fine. However, immediately after I have pressed the brake pedal for the first time the "Exterior Lamp Failure" indicator light comes on. All lamps are working. After stopping the car and restarting the light is off again until I use the brake pedal . Any ideas?

LED lights pull less amps when the car doesn't see the correct amperage it could think there is a light out.
I know you are suppose to add resistors when you used LED's for turn signals to get the proper flash, it could be that if you have not added them to the line power

You can try switching the bulbs if they have the same configuration, and they fit the socket.
I never had any of my bulbs out, I was assuming the brake and turn were on the same bulb like an old 1157 dual element bulbs,
1157 is what we used to use in everything in the older cars for the tail light and turn signal.
