SLK/R170: Rim size that fits with SLK
what wheel's size and tire size are the maximum for SLK ?
do I have to roll the fender if I want to lower the spring by cutting it or changing it with the lowering spring ??
thank you

The SLK's fenders are already partially rolled, so you won't gain alot from rolling, but it might be just enough to clear 235s.
The rears will fit fine as long as the wheel offset is close to stock (30-37mm).
As for lowering, if you don't change the suspension geometry, there's really no difference in rubbing between lowered and stock, it's just how often you experience it.
actually the rims is carlsson 2/5 brillian edition for c32 (not slk)with 8,5 front and 9,5 rear and 235/35/19 front, i found a good deal for that wheels. Is that rims have 35mm-37mm offset ? I don't know about wheel offset. what is offset ?
thx

+38 offset and 225/30/20 tyres front and 235/35/20 rear.
After fitting them, I had my guards rolled slightly just to be on the safe side and have not scraped yet. Car is 30mm lower than factory ride height too.
