SLK/R170: Shocks or sway bars

Shocks or sway bars
Id got a little money right now and I was debating on getting sway bars or new shocks. I only have money for one of them. What you do you guys recommend?
My car has 95k miles so shocks are old too. I have H&R sport spring on aready.

I have a 2001 230. I changed the front sway bar to the AMG part. Handling improved quite a bit. The standard rear bar was the same as the AMG part. It only cost about $180 and was easy to install.

How thick is the AMG sway bar?
And did you buy it from the dealer?
I was looking at the Eibach sway bars that are $500 dollars but if they are the same are the AMG one I rather get the AMG one.

My best friend got the Koni yellow sport adjustable shocks along with Renntech springs and it improved the handling on his 320 a lot. The adjustable shocks are nice to have though a little difficult to get to with how low the car is. He also has a lot of tire rub but he got the #1 spring pads and probably shouldn't have.
