Dimming Rear View Mirror wiring
I would like to retrofit a dimming rear view mirror into my 1998 SLK 230. I have a mirror from a '99 SLK, but I've not been able to determine the wiring for it. The connector on the mirror I have has these wires:
1 - grey
2 - empty/no wire
3 - black
4 - white
5 - brown
6 - yellow

Thanks in advance for any help or ideas you might have!

1 - illumination control module
3 - ground
4 - fused power
5 - external mirror
6 - external mirror
