SLK/R170: Part No. for Air Mass Sensor

Part No. for Air Mass Sensor
Since Mercedes was so pleasant to deal with "NOT!" and they wouldn't give me the part number of the Air Mass Sensor "Because the are not in the business of giving out part numbers so you can find the item cheaper somewhere else".
Here is the part number for the Air Mass Sensor 000-094-09-48, that part number is for a 2000 SLK 230 but will fit 98' & 99' as well. Just so you know, Mercedes wants $512.00 for the part, but I found a place on the web that sells the part by Bosch for $288. Here is the link, just put the part number in the part number search box and it will take you to the part.

Also, just so you know, I was told by the Mercedes Service Guy that the Air Mass Sensor is notorious for going bad in the SLK's, take note...

well there must be alot of SLK's with the same vin as mine. Non the less I got the part brand new for half of what MB wanted, that was my point.
Also, I still am dumbfounded how you can pay so much for a car, and all these problems with it that MB is aware of, and their customer service is rude, and almost like that could give one crap if they helped you or not.
